The Village of Montgomery was awarded $4.5 million in funding as one the Mid-Hudson region’s winners of the second round of New York Forward (NY Forward).

Launched in 2022, New York State's NY Forward program builds on the success of the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) program. NY Forward focuses on invigorating and revitalizing the downtowns in smaller and rural communities—villages, hamlets, and other small, neighborhood-scale municipal centers. The State has allocated $100 million for the second round of NY Forward. Each of the State's ten Regional Economic Development Councils (REDCs) selected two communities per region to receive $4.5 million, bringing the total amount of funding allocated for all rounds of DRI and NY Forward to $1 billion.

2023 Grand Marshal Reception

Sunday, March 12th at Twin Ponds barn at The Farm

We have decided to honor our Farmers this upcoming year and have asked Gene Froehlich, Frank Hoeffner, Jack Hoeffner and Phillie Hoeffner to be the representatives for their families and the entire farming community.  We are so excited to celebrate with all of their families and the Montgomery Farmers Community on this day & also on Ramble Day (March 18th)

TICKETS ARE NOW AVAILABLE!! Please come out to join us for our Grand Marshal Mass & Farmers “BARN PARTY” Reception!

The mass and Reception are open to the public. Reception tickets need to be purchased in advance.

LIVE MUSIC will be provided by THE BUNKER BOYS and our favorite local bagpipers.

$50 includes a BBQ lunch catered by Frankie T’s. (All your BBQ favorites and the fixins, Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic beverages, and dessert)
