PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Village of Montgomery has on April 13, 2023 adopted the budget for the fiscal year June 1, 2023 - May 31, 2024 and a summary thereof is on file and available for public inspection at the Village Clerk’s Office, 133 Clinton Street, during regular business hours, Monday - Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

NOTICE OF ADOPTION LOCAL LAW NO. 1 OF 2022
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Montgomery did adopt Local Law No. 1 of 2022 on the 20th day of December, 2022 at the Village Senior Center, 36 Bridge Street, Montgomery, NY 12549.
SAID LOCAL LAW provides for the Administration and Enforcement of The New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code (The Uniform Code) and The State Energy Conservation Construction Code (The Energy Code) in the Village of Montgomery.

VILLAGE OF MONTGOMERY INTRODUCTORY LOCAL LAW NO. _1__ OF 2022
Be it enacted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Montgomery, in the County of Orange, as follows:
SECTION 1. PURPOSE AND INTENT
This local law provides for the administration and enforcement of the New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code (the Uniform Code) and the State Energy Conservation Construction Code (the Energy Code) in the Village of Montgomery (hereinafter the “Village”). This local law is adopted pursuant to section 10 of the Municipal Home Rule Law. Except as otherwise provided in the Uniform Code, the Energy Code other state law, or other section of this local law, all buildings, structures, and premises, regardless of use or occupancy, are subject to the provisions this local law.

NOTICE OF ADOPTION LOCAL LAW NO. 7 OF 2021
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Montgomery did adopt Local Law No. 7 of 2021 on the 6th day of December, 2021 at the Village Courtroom, 133 Clinton Street, Montgomery, NY 12549.
SAID LOCAL LAW amends the zoning map in accordance with Chapter 122 of the Village Code to annex the parcel known as Section 28, Block 1, Lot 13.22 located on Dunn Road, Montgomery, NY from the Town of Montgomery into the Village of Montgomery and classify said parcel as being within the I-1 zoning district of the Village

INTRODUCTORY LOCAL LAW No.6 OF 2021
A LOCAL LAW AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE VILLAGE OF MONTGOMERY AS IT PERTAINS TO PART OF A PARCEL ALONG RAILROAD AVENUE IN FURTHERANCE OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE VILLAGE’S 2017 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE.
BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Montgomery, New York as follows:
SECTION 1. Legislative Findings, Purpose and Intent.
The Board of Trustees of the Village of Montgomery adopted Local Law No. 3 of 2021 on July 6, 2021 which enacted various text changes to the Zoning Code and to the Zoning Map in furtherance of the implementation of the Village’s 2017 Comprehensive Plan Update. One of those Zoning Map amendments involved the re-zoning of parcels along the easterly side of Railroad Avenue from the I-2 Zoning District to the R-6 Zoning District and other parcels from the I-2 Zoning District to the B-2 Zoning District. In reviewing those changes subsequent to the enactment of Local Law No.3 of 2021, the Board of Trustees realized that the R-6 Zoning District should have extended further down Railroad Avenue an additional 85 feet to the Northeast. It is therefore the intention of this Local Law to make that additional amendment of the Zoning Map to include the additional 85 feet into the R-6 Zoning District.
NOTICE OF ADOPTION LOCAL LAW NO. 4 OF 2021
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Montgomery did adopt Local Law No. 4 of 2021 on the 7th day of September, 2021 at the Village Senior Center, 36 Bridge Street, Montgomery, NY 12549.
SAID LOCAL LAW amends Chapter 118 of the Village Code entitled “Water” to change the due date for payment of water bills and to amend the language for the assessment of penalties for late payments
