NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 2010 PROPOSED BUDGET MONTGOMERY FIRE DISTRICT

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Commissioners of the MONTGOMERY FIRE DISTRICT of the Town of Montgomery and Village of Montgomery, State of New York, will hold a public hearing on the 20th day of October, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. at the Montgomery Fire Department Firehouse, 136 Ward Street, Montgomery, New York 12549 for the purpose of taking public comment on the contents of the 2010 proposed annual budget. Immediately following the close of the hearing at the same location, but starting no earlier than 7:30 p.m., the District will conduct a special meeting for the purpose of revising and/or adopting the final budget.

A copy of the proposed budget is available for inspection during office hours at the offices of the Clerk of the Village of Montgomery at Village Hall, Clinton Street, Montgomery, New York and the Clerk of the Town of Montgomery at Town Hall, Bracken Road, Montgomery, New York, and at the office of the Montgomery Fire District Secretary. The proposed budget is also posted on the Montgomery Fire District website.
